According to trade analyst Sacnilk, the film on its eighth day collected Rs 3.89 crore in the morning. The film has been performing exceptionally well since its release. On Day 1, it opened to a mammoth total of Rs 61.85 crore, then collected Rs 45.4 crore on Friday. Later, wrapping the weekend, it minted Rs 55 crore and Rs 63 crore on Saturday and Sunday. The film on Monday saw an expected dip to Rs 31.25 crore. This brings the total of the film to Rs 260.39 crore as per the live updates on Tuesday, in India.

‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ recorded varied occupancy rates across different languages on Tuesday morning. The film saw a strong 56.74% occupancy in Kannada, while Telugu screens registered 18.62%. Hindi shows managed a 13.25% occupancy, Tamil screenings drew 25.91%, and Malayalam theaters reported an 18.74% occupancy.
