
Konkona Sensharma, known both as an actress and filmmaker, debuted as a director with the praised thriller ‘A Death In The Gunj’ in 2017, which starred Vikrant Massey, Tillotama Shome, and Kalki Koechlin, among others. She then moved on to direct ‘The Mirror,’ a short story segment in the 2023 anthology film ‘Lust Stories 2’. She is now set to star in the eagerly awaited crime thriller ‘Search: The Naina Murder Case’, directed by Rohan Sippy, which will stream on OTT from 10th October 2025. The series unravels a tense murder case that shakes a community to its core, exposing hidden secrets and political intrigues. Konkona plays the role of ACP Sanyukta Das, a seasoned police officer who gets pulled back into a critical investigation just as she plans to step away and focus on her personal life. The ensemble cast also features Surya Sharma, Shiv Pandit, Varun Thakur, Dhruv Sehgal and Shraddha Das.
