A passionate advocate for nature and environmental conservation, Shipra Pathak—widely known as the “Water Woman”—was honoured by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai for her outstanding efforts in promoting afforestation and ecological awareness. Her dedication has not only rejuvenated green spaces but also inspired a community-wide commitment to sustainability. The Chief Minister felicitated her with a shawl and a memento at his official residence in Raipur on Friday.
Lauding her efforts, CM Sai said, “Shipra Pathak’s work is truly inspirational. Citizens like her play a pivotal role in shaping a greener and healthier future. The state government remains committed to supporting such environmental champions.”
Chhattisgarh is actively working on various fronts to promote ecological balance, and individuals leading such missions will be encouraged and supported at every level, he added.
