Kapil Sharma’s restaurant in Canada has been attacked twice in less than a month and the reason, according to a gangster from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, is reportedly because Kapil invited Bollywood star Salman Khan to the launch of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. An audio recording has revealed shocking details about the firing incident.
Gangster’s audio reveals threats
The audio clip, reported by India Today, features Bishnoi gang member Harry Boxer. He says, “The first and now second firing at Kapil Sharma’s restaurant happened because he had invited Salman Khan to the inauguration on a Netflix show.” Salman Khan appeared in the first episode of season 3 of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, which launched on June 21.
Harry Boxers warns everyone working with Salman
As per the same audio clip, Harry Boxer further warns everyone working with Salman, “If anyone works with Salman, whether a small-time actor or a small-time director, we will not spare anyone. We will kill them. We will go to any extent necessary to kill them.”
Second attack at Kap’s Cafe
On Thursday, Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe in Surrey was fired upon for the second time recently. As per the same report, around 25 shots were fired, breaking windows, but no one was injured. Goldy Dhillon, a Bishnoi gang member wanted by Punjab Police and the NIA, claimed responsibility on social media. Security sources say he is believed to be living in Germany and has multiple cases of extortion and murder against him in Punjab.
Earlier attack was linked to Sikh comments
The restaurant was also attacked on July 10. Reportedly, that shooting was claimed by Harjit Singh Laddi, a fugitive and member of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). He said it was because of alleged derogatory remarks Kapil Sharma made about Nihang Sikhs.
