On Thursday, Young performed for the first time since September 2025 at Spotify’s Best New Artist Party. According to USA Today report, the star talked about her performance in a speech and revealed that this is a huge deal for her and she is very grateful to get back on stage. She added, “This is a very, very special moment for me. Thank you to everyone who makes performing feel like this,” during her speech at the event.After her collapse in September, the artist had cancelled all of her following performances and had announced that she would be going on a break. She had broken the news to her fans in a social media post shared days after her incident, along with the caption, “I really hope you’ll give me a second chance once I’ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger.”

Last year, in September, while the ‘Messy’ singer was performing for fans at the All Things Go music festival in New York City. During her set, the singer all of a sudden collapsed on stage in front of thousands of people, worrying everyone. The singer never disclosed what happened to her during the performance; however, she later announced that she was doing better and was getting medical assistance. Young came back to social media last month in December and announced that she is looking forward to getting back on stage. She also thanked all of them for being patient with her.

The singer’s return to the stage comes with the announcement of her Grammy nomination in the Best New Artist Category. She will be competing for the title against Katseye, Sombr, The Marías, Addison Rae, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and Olivia Dean.
