The Sashastra Seema Bal has released the PET/PST admit card for the recruitment of Head Constable (Ministerial) Examination 2026. Candidates who have applied for the post can now download their admit cards from the official SSB recruitment portal using their enrolment number, registration number, or date of birth.The PET/PST examination for SSB HC (Ministerial) is due to be held on January 28, 2026. The recruitment process is with regard to Advertisement Number – 338/R&C/SSB/HC(Min)/2020. The candidates are advised to ensure that they peruse all the information contained therein and follow the guidelines laid down by SSB.Availability of Admit Card and Timeline of RecruitmentAccording to the notification, the online application process commenced on July 24, 2021, and closed on August 22, 2021, as per the SSB HC Ministerial exam date notification. The last date for payment of the application fee was August 22, 2021. The PET/PST admit card was made available on January 13, 2026. The result date for the PET/PST stage will be updated on the official website in due course.The recruitment drive is being conducted for a total of 115 vacancies in the post of Head Constable (Ministerial). Candidates qualifying in PET/PST will be further called for the selection process, as prescribed by SSB.PET/PST examination focus and physical standardsThe PET/PST stage assesses candidates on physical efficiency and physical measurement standards. Candidates should exhibit the minimum required height, chest, and endurance criteria as established by the SSB. For more specific criteria regarding the physical criteria under each category or the running required, please check the respective recruitment notification effort as provided on the authorized site or platform in due course.Candidates need to bring the PET/PST admit card along with a photo identity proof to the examination centre. Entry to the venue will not be permitted without the admit card.Application fee and eligibility criteriaThe application fee for General, EWS, and OBC candidates is ?100. SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, and all female candidates are exempted from fee payment. The fee was accepted through online modes including debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, and mobile wallet.As per the eligibility criteria, the candidate is required to be a pass out of Class 12 from any recognized board of the country. Typing skills are also required, which need not be less than 35 words per minute for the language English and 30 words per minute for the language Hindi.Age Limit and RelaxationThe age limit for the SSB HC (Ministerial) position was determined based on August 22, 2021. The minimum age required for the position is 18 years, while the maximum age required is 25 years.
