Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) will start the Uttarakhand National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 round 3 counselling registration from January 27.Eligible candidates can apply online for round 3 counselling on the official website hnbumu.ac.in. The last date to register is February 1.Along with fresh registration, candidates can also resign, surrender, or withdraw seats allotted in round 1 and round 2 by physically reporting at the concerned medical colleges. This facility will remain available till February 1, 5 pm.
Seat upgradation option available
Candidates who want seat upgradation can opt for it without paying any registration fee. The last date to choose seat upgradation is also February 1.Revised schedule released after NEET PG cut-off reductionHNBUMU has revised the round 3 counselling schedule after the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) reduced the NEET PG 2025 cut-off.As per the latest update:
- General category cut-off has been reduced from the 50th percentile to the 7th percentile
- SC, ST, and OBC category cut-off has been reduced from the 40th percentile to the 0th percentile
- NEET PG 2025 ranks remain unchanged

Important information for NRI candidatesFor Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates:The last day to surrender, withdraw, or resign seats allotted in rounds 1 and 2 is January 30. NRI merit list will be released on January 30 after 8 pm. Document verification for NRI seats will be done at the allotted college from January 31 to February 1.
