JEE Main 2026 admit card: The National Testing Agency has released the admit cards for candidates appearing in JEE Main 2026 Session 1 scheduled for later this month.The admit cards are available for candidates scheduled to appear in the examination on 28 and 29 January across centres in India and overseas locations.Exam schedule and admit card release detailsAccording to the official notice, the agency is conducting JEE Main 2026 Session 1 at multiple centres located in various cities throughout the country and in 15 cities outside India. For candidates appearing on 28 January, Paper 1 for B.E. and B.Tech will be held in two shifts, while candidates scheduled on 29 January will appear for Paper 2A and Paper 2B. The first shift for Paper 1 is scheduled from 9 am to 12 noon, followed by the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm, as per Indian Standard Time.Instructions for candidatesFor Paper 2A and Paper 2B, the examination will be conducted in the first shift from 9 am to 12.30 pm, as specified in the notice issued by the agency. The agency has stated that the examination city and date details were already communicated earlier to all eligible candidates. It also confirmed that admit cards for candidates scheduled on earlier examination days were released previously.

Step 1: Visit the official JEE Main website at https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ using a compatible web browser.Step 2: Click on the link to download JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Admit Card, which is available on the home page.Step 3: Enter necessary login credentials such as application number and date of birth, as requested.Step 4: Enter the details, and the admit card will appear on the screen for verification.Step 5: Download the admit card and take a clear printout of it for further use on the examination day.Important verification and contact informationThe candidates need to ensure that the QR code as well as the barcode are visible in the admit card that they download and carry the same photo identity proof that they have uploaded in their application form.
