Fraud allegations complaint details
A 34-year-old local actor-producer named Vidnyan Mane recently filed a complaint with Sangli police in Maharashtra, claiming Palash ditched him of Rs.40 lakh, as reported by PTI. No FIR has been lodged yet. On Tuesday, he approached the Superintendent of Police demanding action against Palash. The complaint details their first meeting on December 5, 2023, in Sangli, where Palash pitched his film ‘Nazaria’ for investment after Mane showed interest in production. Palash allegedly promised Rs.12 lakh profit on a Rs.25 lakh stake post-OTT release, plus a role for Mane. They met twice more, and Mane handed over Rs.40 lakh total by March 2025. The project, however, was not completed, so Vidnyan demanded his money back, but allegedly got no response. He then went to the police, who are now checking early details, the official added.
