Reports from Mathrubhumi have suggested that Vijesh collapsed while he was conducting a drama training session at Sacred Heart College, Thevara, in Ernakulam. He was teaching students, doing what he loved the most. People around him rushed to help. He was taken to the hospital immediately. However, his life could not be saved. Vijesh was 49.

KV Vijesh’s journey from Kozhikode to many stages
KV Vijesh was a native of Kozhikode. He entered the theatre field while he was a student at Guruvayurappan College. That is where his journey truly began. Later he studied at the School of Drama. After that he became very active in theatre. He wrote plays, directed shows, and trained many actors.His wife Kabani is also a theatre activist. After their marriage they started a drama training initiative called Theatre Beats. This space became very popular and helped many young people learn theatre. Vijesh also conducted acting workshops for films. He worked on several movies including ‘Monkey Pen’, ‘Malgudi Days’, ‘My God’, ‘My Great Father’, and many more.
