The football star, who was attending the World Economic Forum, was quizzed about the highly debated subject about the alleged Beckham family feud, which took a new turn on social media on Tuesday morning. While making his entrance at the forum, the footballer and philanthropist put on a smile and walked past a group of people. Brooklyn Beckham’s tell-all post
Brooklyn on Tuesday, hit the top trends on social media when he revealed that he had no plans to reconcile with his family. “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” he said, before going on to make allegations against his parents – David and Victoria. Besides accusing his parents of trying to “control the narratives” around his life he also made accusations against them for trying to ‘ruin’ his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz. He also seemed to confirm rumours of a rift developing since the wedding prep, including Nicola’s wedding dress and his mother allegedly ‘humiliated’ him in front of his 500 guests. Since the bombshell revelations, Brooklyn has found supporters who praised him for “speaking his truth” and others who trolled him for his ‘nepobaby tantrums’.
About the Beckham family feud
Rumours of a Beckham family feud has been hitting the headlines for several years since the eldest Beckham son wed in 2022. His absence from several family milestone moments, including his dad’s 50th birthday, to allegedly not inviting them to his vow renewal ceremony, and eventually blocking David, Victoria and his siblings on social media, further added to the chatter. Brooklyn ended his statement by saying, “All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.”Neither David nor Victoria Beckham has responded publicly to Brooklyn’s remarks so far.
