In her recent address as the brand ambassador for the Kerala Women’s Commission, Manju Warrier delivered a powerful message on agency, self-belief, and how women should harness the courage to reclaim one’s dreams. “Marriage isn’t the end of the road,” when Manju Warrier said these words at the recent Kerala Women’s Commission’s campaign, it somehow echoed the beautiful scene from her film ‘Rani Padmini’- “If you keep your wings locked, how will you fly?” Her address at the ‘Parannuyaraam Karuthode’ campaign was not just a speech, but a powerful reminder.
Manju Warrier observed that marriage is no longer the ultimatum for women
During her address, Manju Warrier shared her observation that, today, marriage is no longer the ultimate goal in life. “Marriage isn’t the end of the road. It’s not the last word in life or anything,” she said.“I’ve been impressed by the choices young women are making today. Girls are deciding for themselves whether or when to marry, and I feel parents who support these choices are doing something incredible,” the superstar said. Manju Warrier further spoke about how, she personally is ticking off her bucket list, one at a time. She recalled that she has always wanted to ride bikes. As a child, her father would take her on a bike ride, and as any girl child, she also dreamt of riding one. Back in 2023, Manju Warrier bought a BMW R 1250 GS, which cost around Rs 21 lakh. She even went on a bike trip with her co-star Ajith Kumar and a couple of friends. She toured across Kashmir, Ladakh, Himalaya, and Punjab. “Huge thanks to our Super Star Rider Ajith Kumar Sir! Being an avid traveller, I’ve had the opportunity of travelling thousands of miles on four wheelers. This is the first time I’m doing a tour on a two wheeler. Huge thanks to Adventure Riders India for inviting me over to join this wonderful group of passionate bikers. And it was an honour to be introduced to @suprej and @sardar_sarfaraz_khan of Adventure Riders India by Ajith Sir! Thank you Sir! Lots of love!” she said, in an earlier post.
