As the Hindi version of ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ is slowly finding love from audiences, actor Shruhad Goswami has spoken openly about his personal faith and how it connects with the film. Shruhad said that he is deeply spiritual in real life.In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama he shared, “In real life, I am a Krishna devotee. After seeing the miracle that is our film, I am more of a devotee.”He explained that the film made his belief even stronger. He also spoke about how the team discussed the idea of bringing God into the story. Shruhad said that the entire team had one clear thought from the start. He shared, “We had already made a collective call that if God comes into the film.”
God comes as a friend in ‘Laalo’
Shruhad explained how God is shown in Laalo. He said that they did not want to show God in a loud or dramatic way. He said, “He will come in a way that until He says that I am God, we won’t know that He is God.”Shruhad explained this thought very simply. He said that in real life too, someone may help us when we are lost. We may never know who that person really was. He shared, “Because in our lives, it must have happened that a person comes and helps us in any way and we don’t know who that person was. Who knows, he might be God.”He added that this was a decision taken together. He said, “So, it was director Ankit Sakhiya’s, my and the whole team’s call that when God arrives in the film, He will come like a friend. That’s why we have shown God in the film in this way.”
Karan Joshi opens up about self-doubt
Actor Karan Joshi also spoke honestly about his life and struggles. In another interview, he did not hide his feelings. He spoke like a normal person sharing his heart. Karan said, “Self-doubt hota hai… but giving up is never an option.”He shared that his journey has not been smooth. There were many days when he felt tired and low. He said, “I used to give up every night. But I have to wake up in the morning and work hard.”
How Laalo feels personal for the actors
Karan also spoke about how the film connects with real life. He felt that the emotions shown in Laalo are something everyone has felt at some point. He said, “As it is in the film, we have all experienced it somewhere. That’s why those emotions have also been portrayed.”He shared that those feelings were already inside him. He said, “They were hidden somewhere. That is also a blessing.”
