A seemingly mean-spirited social media post on X (formerly Twitter), aimed at anti-marriage vibes, has unexpectedly turned into a global love-story celebration for Hollywood star Pierce Brosnan and his wife Keely Shaye Smith. A now-viral tweet from user “Steve” paired an early-2000s slim photo of Keely with a recent, curvier image and captioned it, “Dear men, this is your daily reminder to avoid marriage (sic)”. It implied that love and ageing are incompatible but the Internet had a different reaction and fans flooded the thread with admiration for the couple’s decades-long relationship instead.
