ICAI CA Intermediate January 2026 Auditing and Ethics paper postponed to this date: Check revised schedule

ICAI CA Intermediate January 2026: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a revised date for the Chartered Accountants (CA) Intermediate Examination January 2026, Group II, Paper 5 Auditing and Ethics.According to the official notice issued today, January 19, 2026, the Auditing and Ethics paper, which was earlier scheduled to be held on 19 January 2026 (Monday), has been postponed and will now be conducted on a new date across India and abroad.

Revised date for CA Intermediate Auditing and Ethics paper

The examination will be held at the same examination centres and at the same time as previously notified. Candidates do not need to report to a new centre.

Admit cards remain valid

ICAI has clearly stated that the admit cards already issued will remain valid for the rescheduled examination date. Candidates are advised to carry the same admit card on 31 January 2026.

No further changes due to public holidays

The Institute has also clarified that there will be no change in the examination schedule even if any exam day is declared a public holiday by the Central Government, State Government, or local authorities.

Other CA examinations remain unchanged

ICAI has confirmed that the remaining papers of the CA Foundation January 2026 Examination will be conducted as per the original schedule, that is on 20, 22, and 24 January 2026.
