Kianna Underwood passes away in a car accident
The New York Daily News reported that the star was hit by a vehicle on January 16 in Brooklyn, New York, which resulted in her untimely demise. A 911 call was made to the authorities around 6:49 AM. A video of the incident was also recorded in the security cameras of a nearby laundromat. It was reported that a black Ford SUV had hit the actress at the intersection at Watkins and had driven away at high speed after the incident. Underwood was still under the car for almost a block after the car drove away. According to the aforementioned news portal, locals shared how they knew the former actress and were devastated over the news of her passing. One person said, “I’m very devastated, you know, I see her all the time. She always had good spirits, happy, good energy…It was very sad to hear that it was her.”Variety has reported that the investigation into the accident is underway and that no arrests have been made in the case so far.
