The country’s smartphone exports rose 43.7 per cent to USD 18.8 billion during the April-November period this fiscal year, according to the commerce ministry data released on Thursday. It was USD 13.08 billion in April-November 2024-25 and USD 9.07 billion during April-November 2023-24. The data showed that the US was the major destination for the shipments. It was followed by the UAE, China, Portugal, and Spain. Indian smartphones are also making inroads in new markets such as Slovakia, Israel, Latvia, Vietnam, and South Korea, it showed.
