Maks ‘Drututt’ Przychodzień, a popular League of Legends streamer, is once again in trouble with Twitch. On January 9, the platform banned him for one week after a stream hashtag was flagged as “misogynistic.” The ban came at a very important time, just as the new League of Legends season went live, when many streamers see higher views and more activity. The issue started with a hashtag used in Drututt’s stream title. Twitch said the tag broke its rules. Drututt, however, says the meaning was misunderstood. He claims the joke was about himself and not aimed at anyone else. The ban was later listed by StreamerBans, which showed this was his eighth suspension on the platform.Because Twitch acted quickly, the ban stopped him from streaming during the early days of the new season. That timing made the situation even more frustrating for the streamer, who says he was only trying to have fun with self-joking humor.
Maks ‘Drututt’ Przychodzień explains Twitch ban and denies sexist intent
Soon after the suspension, Maks ‘Drututt’ Przychodzień shared his side of the story online. He confirmed that Twitch banned him for seven days and explained what caused it.“Got nuked for having a hashtag NOWOMEN on my stream, right next to tags like RANGEDTOP and UGLYIRL,” he said in a post.According to Drututt, Twitch told him the hashtag was misogynistic. He strongly disagreed with that view and said the joke was aimed only at himself.“They said it’s misogynistic when the tag’s purpose was to poke fun at an uglyirl streamer who gets NO WOMEN in his life. 7 days at the start of [a] new season is amazing,” he added. Some fans also began asking if Riot Games would be comfortable with his humor, especially after Drututt and Forsen announced their Tier 2 NLC team called 4 SWINES & A BUM. Drututt replied to those concerns in a short and clear way.“What is wrong in getting 0 women, bro?” he wrote.Others suggested he could have used softer words instead. Drututt answered that as well.“My vocabulary isn’t rich enough to think of a word ‘maidenless,’” he said, adding that Twitch could have warned him or removed the tag.For now, Twitch has not changed its decision. Drututt is expected to serve the full ban, even though he believes the situation was a misunderstanding. Also Read: Nick Fuentes says he wants to take over Kick and asks Adin Ross for help
