Kannada Star Yash will be making his much-anticipated return to the big screens after ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ with ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’, which is set to release on March 19. Today, on his birthday, the makers shared the teaser of his upcoming gangster action drama as Yash plays the unapologetic and outright pernicious character Raya.
Teaser of ‘Toxic’
The video 2 minute 31 second video begins with a scene that opens in a graveyard, where a church’s father is seen performing rituals during a burial ceremony. The teaser builds up to a dark theme and intense music as the gang seems to ambush the ceremony, troubling the people around. The gangster takes over the place to bury his own son. He is seen speaking to his gang members, “Do you think he’ll come.” to which he gets a reply, “I don’t think so. Nobody’s so insane”, which sets a perfect phrase for the entry of the protagonist.Immediately a car is seen rushing towards the graveyard but hits the tree just before the closed entrance door of the graveyard. A drunken man is seen to be setting a bomb in an unprecedented manner, confusing the gang members and it makes the entry sequence of Yash’s character who detonates the bomb in a kooky fashion. The entire graveyard, which seemed to have been planted with bombs, erupts and Yash makes his entry as Raya, who is seen holding a Thompson machine gun and a cigar. In an all-black outfit, a glimpse of him shooting enemies and slicing them in a larger-than-life portrayal can be seen as the teaser closes with him saying, “Daddy’s home”.Yash is celebrating his 40th birthday today. Sharing the teaser, the makers wrote, “Get a good look at your danger – Introducing RAYA”.
About ‘Toxic’
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is a gangster action drama which is set in early 90’s Goa and seems to revolve around a drug cartel.

Earlier, the makers released the first look poster of the female leads with Kiara Advani as Nadia, Nayanthara as Ganga, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, Tara Sutaria as Rebecca and Rukmini Vasanth playing Mellisa.The film is shot in Kannada and English and will also be available to watch in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.The movie will be released on March 19, 2026. It will clash with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’ directed by Aditya Dhar, releasing on the same date.
