
DU UG admission 2025: Delhi University’s registration process for the second phase of undergraduate admissions under the Centralised Seat Allocation System (CSAS) will close today. Candidates interested in applying for Phase 2 admission must complete their registration by 11:59 pm. After this deadline, no further changes or new registrations will be accepted, and the system will automatically lock all submitted preferences.Students who have already registered are advised to log in to their accounts and finalise their course and college preferences before the deadline. It is important to note that once the preferences are locked, no modifications will be possible until the next window for changes opens. The university emphasises careful consideration while selecting options, as these choices impact seat allocation.Key deadlines and next steps in the admission processThe registration and preference-filling window for Phase 2 has been open since July 8 and will close today at 11:59 pm. Immediately following this, the system will prevent any further edits or additions. The simulated rank list, which gives candidates an estimate of their standing in the admission process, is scheduled to be released tomorrow by 5 pm.Following the simulated rank release, candidates will have a chance to revise their preferences. The preference change window will be open from July 15 at 5 pm until July 16 at 11:59 pm. This period allows applicants to reorder or alter their choices based on the simulated rank and other considerations before the final seat allotment.Seat allotment and verification timelineThe first seat allotment list will be published on July 19 at 5 pm. Candidates who are allotted seats must accept their seat by July 21, with the deadline for acceptance set at 4:59 pm. After seat acceptance, colleges will conduct online application verification between July 19 and July 22. Payment of fees will be accepted until July 23, also at 4:59 pm.Information on vacant seats after the first allotment will be released on July 24 at 5 pm. Following this, a window for candidates to reorder their higher preferences will be available from July 24 to July 25. The second round of seat allotment is scheduled for July 28.
