JEE Advanced 2026 registration: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has announced the registration dates and complete schedule for JEE Advanced 2026. The exam is conducted for admission to B.Tech programmes at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) across India.As announced earlier, JEE Advanced 2026 will be held on May 17, 2026, in computer-based test (CBT) mode.

The online registration process for JEE Advanced 2026 will begin in April 2026. Registration dates are different for Foreign National / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) / Person of Indian Origin (PIO) candidates and JEE Main qualified Indian candidates.

JEE Advanced 2026: Exam pattern
The exam will be conducted in two compulsory papers on the same day.
- Paper 1: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Paper 2: 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Candidates must appear for both papers to be considered for ranking.The question paper will be available in English and Hindi.
Who is eligible for JEE Advanced 2026?
Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates from JEE Main 2026 will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2026.NTA will conduct JEE Main 2026 in two sessions: Session 1 from January 21 to January 30, 2026 and Session 2 from April 1 to April 10, 2026.
