The programme is being conducted on a contract basis to provide young professionals with exposure to policy research, programme evaluation, and strategic work in the fields of agriculture and rural development.Eligible candidates can apply online only through the official website at nabard.org. NABARD Young Professional Program 2025: Eligibility criteria
Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions given below:
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen
- Age limit: 21 to 30 years as on November 1, 2025
- The candidate must have the required educational qualification and work experience as mentioned for the selected discipline
- Final results of the required qualification must have been declared on or before November 1, 2025
- Candidates can apply for only one discipline and one location
NABARD Young Professional Program 2025: Duration and stipend
The engagement period will be one year, which can be extended up to three years based on performance and requirements. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 70,000, which is inclusive of all components.

The selection process will be conducted in two stages:
- Application screening based on academic record, work experience, and overall profile
- Interview, including presentation, conducted by the selection committee
The interview will be held at the respective NABARD regional offices.
