
The CBSE Board Exams 2025 commenced on February 15, with Class 10 English and Class 12 Entrepreneurship as the first papers. The exams were conducted smoothly across 7,842 centres in India and 26 countries, ensuring a secure and fair assessment process for students.
Over 42 lakh students are appearing for the CBSE board exams this year, with 23.86 lakh students taking the Class 10 English exam at 7,780 centres, while around 23,000 students appeared for the Class 12 Entrepreneurship exam at 995 centres.
Strict Security and Smooth Execution
Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, confirmed the successful execution of the exams, stating that all necessary measures were in place to ensure security and fairness. CBSE enforced strict protocols to maintain exam integrity, providing clear guidelines to schools and exam centres.
To prepare for the exams, CBSE conducted a live webinar for school principals in Delhi-NCR a day before the exams. The session was led by CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh, with Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj and Dr. Antriksh Johri (Director, IT) discussing key examination protocols.
CBSE Encourages Students to Stay Confident
CBSE reaffirmed its commitment to a fair and efficient examination process, prioritizing students’ well-being and stress-free participation. The board urged students to stay updated through official notifications and encouraged them to approach their exams with confidence.
With over 42 lakh students from 30,000+ schools appearing for the CBSE Board Exams 2025, the board remains focused on maintaining a smooth, disciplined, and transparent examination process in the coming weeks.
