Pune: AIC-Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum, supported by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, will host the third edition of the National IP Yatra 2025-26 in Pune on December 19 and 20. The two-day national programme, to be held at Hotel Lemon Tree Premier, aims to build grassroots awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and equip MSMEs, startups, and innovators with the knowledge and tools required to protect and commercialize their innovations. This year’s theme is “Building an IP-Driven Economy for a Developed India @2047.”IPR has become critical for MSMEs and startups in safeguarding innovation, enhancing brand value, attracting investments, and staying competitive. The IP Yatra will include expert-led sessions and panel discussions on patents, trademarks, copyrights, industrial designs, and the commercialization of IP assets. We are fortunate to have Dr. Sudhir Mehta, Chairman and Managing Director of Pinnacle Industries Ltd., as the Chief Guest for the event. We also have eminent speakers who will be joining us as Guests of Honor, including Shri. Abhay Daftardar, DFO Mumbai (MSME Ministry); Shri. Sudhanwa Kopardekar, Director, MCCIA; IPR expert Shri. Vedant Pujari; Dr. Nitin Tewari, Senior Principal Scientist and Head, Intellectual Property Group, CSIR-NCL; and Shri. Pratik Hendre, Assistant Controller of Patents and Designs, Mumbai, followed by technical sessions from experts across leading industries and renowned organisations.Over the two days, discussions will cover the role of IP in nation-building and India’s 2047 vision, IP incentives and government support for MSMEs, IP strategies for manufacturing, design, and Make-in-India, global IP filing pathways, international protection, technology transfer, and industry collaboration. Panel discussions featuring R&D leaders, MSME representatives, legal experts, and IP practitioners are also scheduled. The event is free and open to MSMEs, startups, technology professionals, IP attorneys, legal experts, faculty members, and students. Registration can be completed online or through the AIC-Pinnacle website.AIC-Pinnacle, supported by the Atal Innovation Mission, is a Pune-based incubation center offering programmes in incubation, acceleration, research, and capacity building. It also operates an Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC) under the MSME Ministry, providing free IPR filing support and reimbursement services to MSMEs. The centre has supported more than 100 startups, facilitated over 250 IPR filings, and has received several national and international recognitions, including the Incubator of the Year 2025 award from the Pune Management Association.
