The new season opens with her stepping into a fresh chapter in the Eternal City, complete with a blossoming romance with Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini). Still, even with new scenery and new love, Emily can’t shake her longing for the life and friendships she left behind in France. The trailer teases the big question: Will she choose Rome or return to Paris? Will she be able to find a place for herself in Rome and deal with the struggles that come along in a new place? The trailer drops hints about her growing homesickness — she misses her Paris circle and the complicated love life she left behind. It also teases a surprising spark between Mindy (Ashley Park) and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount).
