Additionally, there are 135 posts for SI Platoon Commander and 60 posts for SI Platoon Commander (Special Security Force). The recruitment application process was open from August 12, 2025, to September 11, 2025. Candidates were required to pay the application fee by September 15, 2025, and correction of details was permitted between September 12 and September 15, 2025.Age and physical standards requirementsApplicants must meet the age criteria as of July 1, 2025. The minimum age requirement is 21 years, and the maximum is 28 years, with age relaxation applicable as per UP Police SI Recruitment Rules. Physical standards for male candidates include a minimum height of 168 cm and chest measurement of 79–84 cm for UR/OBC/SC candidates, and 160 cm height with 77–82 cm chest for ST candidates. Female candidates must meet a minimum height of 152 cm and weight of 40 kg for UR/OBC/SC, and 147 cm height with 40 kg weight for ST candidates.Physical efficiency test and selection processThe Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for male candidates requires completing a 4.8 km race in 28 minutes, while female candidates must complete 2.4 km in 16 minutes.
