Purnima is one of the most powerful day when you worship Lord Vishnu and Moon God. The day is also considered extremely auspicious to perform puja to Goddess Lakshmi and Satyanarayan Bhagwan. Take Bath: You should take bath in the morning and cleanse yourself first.Clean home: You are advised to clean your home and puja room. Sankalp: Take a sankalp of observing satyanarayan vrat. Observe fast: Devotees should observe fast from dawn to dusk dedicated to Lord Satyanarayan.Worship: You should take a wooden plank and place the idol of Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi and offer prayers. Light a diya: Light a diya with desi ghee, light incense sticks to worship Lord Vishnu and Lakshmi Mata. Offer prasad: Devotees prepare bhog prasad such as panchamrit and panjeeri and offer it to them to seek blessings.
