OICL AO Scale-I recruitment 2025: The Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL), a wholly-owned Public Sector General Insurance Company under the Government of India, has released the official notification for the recruitment of 300 Administrative Officers (Scale-I) for 2025. OICL AO Scale-I recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the prescribed nationality, educational, and age-related requirements to be considered for the posts.Candidates must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1 January 1962, or
- A person of Indian origin migrated from select countries.
Such candidates must hold a Government of India–issued eligibility certificate.Educational qualification (as on 30 November 2025)Generalist Officer:
- Graduation or Post Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates).
Hindi (Rajbhasha) Officer:

- Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or

OICL AO Scale-I recruitment 2025: Salary and benefits
The selected candidates will receive the following pay structure and benefits as per OICL rules.
- Basic pay: ₹50,925
- Pay scale: ₹50,925–2500(14)–₹85,925–2710(4)–₹96,765
- Approximate monthly gross salary: ₹85,000 in metropolitan cities

The recruitment will be conducted in multiple stages as detailed below.Phase I: Preliminary exam (Generalist & Hindi Officer)
- Computer-based exam

- 1 hour duration
- Sections: English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude
Phase II: Main examFor Generalists:
- Objective Test: 200 marks
- Descriptive Test (English): 30 marks
- Total duration: 180 minutes
For Hindi Officers:
- Objective Test: 200 marks
- Descriptive Test (Hindi & English): 50 marks
- Total duration: 180 minutes
Phase III: Interview
- Weightage: Main Exam 80% + Interview 20%
- Final merit based on consolidated scores.
OICL AO Scale-I recruitment 2025: Application fee
The application fee for the recruitment varies by category. Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwBD categories are required to pay ₹250, which includes only the intimation charges. All other candidates must pay ₹1000, which covers the application fee along with the intimation charges.
