Actor Shraddha Kapoor in her latest chat with fans, finally confirmed that she will be taking her romance with her boyfriend and writer–filmmaker Rahul Mody to the next level and will work together on a film.Amid growing curiosity among fans about her upcoming slate of films, the actress shared the details about the film that will mark her first professional collaboration with Mody.
Shraddha’s next film to be announced soon
In a video from the chat that has since gone viral, Kapoor revealed that she has already completed shooting for one film, but revealed that an official announcement about the film has yet to be made. She said, “I have already shot for one film. Its official announcement has not yet been made, so I cannot talk much about that. But the announcement will be made very soon.”
Shraddha announces film with Rahul
The actor, however, confirmed that her next confirmed project will be with her rumoured beau, Rahul. She shared, “After that, I am doing Rahul’s film. I can speak about the film without hesitation.”Kapoor went on to tease plot details about the upcoming film, saying, “It revolves around the world of start-ups. It is based on the hustle culture. For me, it is a new kind of role which is challenging.”
Shraddha on picking her films
The star also shared a shift in her professional approach, saying she is now “consciously deciding that I should take on roles where I am challenged as an actor and one where I play an active character. So I am picking films only after thinking about the script, and taking time to decide what type of film I want to do.”
Shraddha lends her voice to ‘Zootopia 2′
Shraddha will also be seen lending her voice to the Hindi-dubbed version of the much-awaited animated film ‘Zootopia 2’. The upcoming film, set to release in Indian theatres on November 28, will see the actress voicing the chaacter of Judy Hopps. Kapoor shared her excitement about the same in a post that read, “She is feisty, courageous, enthu cutlet aur cute toh hai hi.. bachpan se…” Directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, the film is a sequel to the 2016 ‘Zootopia’, which won an Oscar for best animated feature.
