New Delhi: India Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill is recovering in Mumbai right now and it’s reliably learnt that the 26-year-old could well check into the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE) on either December 1 or December 2 – a week before the T20I series vs South Africa starts on December 9 in Cuttack.
Gill wasn’t available for selection for the three-match ODI series against the same opposition and as per the roadmap finalised by Dr Abhay Nene, Spine Specialist in Mumbai, and BCCI medical team, he will continue to rest before taking the next steps at the CoE.
