Congress contender, Md Qamrul Hoda trails with 2,659 votes, while AIMIM’s Shams Aghaz follows at 998 votes, falling behind by 3,871. The early trends clearly signal BJP’s strong footing in the constituency as counting picks up pace.The Kishanganj Assembly constituency recorded a robust 79.93% voter turnout on November 11, as the region went to polls in the second phase of Bihar’s ongoing Assembly elections. The overall turnout across the state stood at 66.91%, marking a record surge in participation compared to previous elections.Located in the Seemanchal region, Kishanganj is among Bihar’s 243 Assembly constituencies and is witnessing a close contest between INC’s Qamrul Hoda and BJP’s Sweety Singh.
